A book from the Mothers of Fiqh al-Maliki is rich in Fiqh of the Branches, written by Khalil bin Ishaq bin Musa bin Shuaib, Dia al-Din Abu al-Mawaddah al-Masri, known as al-Jundi, a famous Maliki jurist.

His father was Hanafi school of thought, and he heard from Ibn Abd al-Hadi, and read on Al-Rashidi in Arabic and the origins, and on Abdullah Al-Munufi in the jurisprudence of Maliki.

He was dressed as a soldier and did not change it and had a livelihood on it.

He became famous and taught the Malikis at the Shikh school.

He has an explanation of “Muqasas Ibn al-Hajib” that he called clarification, and the abbreviated (printed) in fiqh is known as abbreviated Khalil and it has been explained by many, rites, and drugs of the concept in regard to translations and science.

He died in the year of seventy-six and seven hundred, and it was said: The year of sixty-seven, and the owner of "getting rejoicing" favored the first statement.

Well-known Maliki scholars, and one of his most famous books is Al-Mukhtasir, and it is called "Khalil’s Summary" and he compiled a summary of the Maliki school of jurisprudence in a very brief way.
