There are many reasons that may lead to the weakness of faith in God Almighty, and the following is a statement of some of them:عدم الحرص على حضور مجالس الذكر، فذلك قد يؤدي بالعبد إلى ضعفٍ في الدين وفتورٍ في الهمّة، قال تعالى: (أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ Sinners), if the servant turns away from the councils of preaching and preaching, he may find in himself harshness and apathy towards the people of faith and remembrance, and he will alienate after a while from those councils and find himself lonely towards them.
not setting a good example; A righteous example that combines knowledge, work, faith, and virtuous morals is one of the reasons that strengthens faith in oneself. Therefore, there were those among the Companions who were fit to succeed the Prophet in managing the affairs of the nation. As the Prophet - upon him be blessings and peace - was their role model.
Not being keen on learning and seeking legal knowledge, not being keen on reciting the Holy Qur’an, reading the books of the Prophet’s hadith, or reading the books of tenderness, preaching, and the biography of the Prophet and the Companions, as it revives faith in the heart and urges the commitment to good deeds.
Growing up in an environment in which sins and taboos are frequently committed, and in which there is a lot of talk about worldly matters without mentioning the matters of the Hereafter, just as being preoccupied with worldly matters over the affairs of the Hereafter is one of the causes of weak faith if the servant is preoccupied with it from his worship and obedience, and thus leads to a weakening of his relationship and connection with God Almighty, the Prophet said - May God bless him and grant him peace -: (God said: We have sent down money to establish prayer and pay zakat, and if the son of Adam had a valley, he would love to have a second, and if he had two valleys, he would love to have a third for them, and nothing fills the stomach of the son of Adam except dirt, then he repents God is upon those who repent), and from the forms of preoccupation with the affairs of the world; الانشغال بالأموال والأولاد والزوجة، قال الله تعالى: (زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّـهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ)، فإنّ الانشغال بتلك الأمور يصبح مذموماً إن قُدّمت على طاعة الله -تعالى- And obedience to His Messenger, and praise be to Allah, if it leads to an increase in faith and helps in obedience and worship.
The holding of hope in the life of this world and concern for it; This leads to a lack of keenness to obey God, a lack of desire to worship, repent, and turn to Him, Glory be to Him, and to ignore the afterlife and its rewards and rewards, and not remembering death and the grave, which leads to a lack of preparation for that.
Too much idle talk and getting used to things that are useless, which leads to weakness of vigor and determination in performing acts of worship and acts of worship, and occupies time with useless things.
Lack of knowledge of the names and attributes of God - Glory be to Him -, because the lack of knowledge and knowledge of them leads to a lack of faith.
Thinking about the power of God - Glory be to Him - in the universe, so thinking about God's power leads to stability or increasing faith in oneself.
Committing sins and committing sins, as sin entails many negative effects related to weak faith, and may lead to abandoning acts of worship.
