We have narrated on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, Abdullah bin Masoud, Muadh bin Jabal, Abu al-Darda’, Ibn Omar, Ibn Abbas, Anas bin Malik, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Saeed al-Khudri, may God be pleased with them, from many paths with various narrations: that the Messenger of God prayed May God’s prayers and peace be upon him said: “Whoever memorizes forty hadiths from the matter of her religion for my nation.”God will send him on the Day of Resurrection among the group of jurists and scholars.”
And in the narration of Abu al-Darda’: “I will be an intercessor and a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection.” And in the narration of Ibn Masoud: He was told: “Enter from any gate of Paradise you wish.” And in the narration of Ibn Umar, “He was written among the group of scholars and resurrected in the group of martyrs.” It was agreed that he maintains a weak hadith, although his ways are many.
