TVM is a station controlled by the Government of Mozambique and is located in the city of Maputo.History
It began in 1981 under the name of Experimental Television of Mozambique with broadcasts only on Sundays. Gradually, the days of broadcasts increased and the station was renamed to Television of Mozambique, from 1991.
The station also expanded to cities such as Beira and Nampula. From 2001 the station started to show via satellite to the whole country.
