Truly, Islam has bestowed knowledge, glory, and determination on him, so that he became one of the leading figures in the history of humanity, until he SAW said, Hold fast to the knowledge given by Ibn Ummi Abdin (Ibnu Masud). These are the verses that have been interpreted by experts, which the Prophet SAW prayed for to become someone who understands religion, so that his friends agree about his knowledge in terms of interpretation of the Koran, so that he was given the title of Secret Chest. Ibn Mas'ud once said:
By Allah, there is no god but Him. There is not a single surah sent down by Allah that I do not know where it was sent down. There is not a single verse of the Quran that I do not know in what case it was revealed.
