Roséanne Park, also known as Rosé Blackpink, is a Korean–New Zealand singer and dancer. She was born in Auckland, raised in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and went to Korea to debut as a member of Blackpink.Roseanne Park was born to South Korean immigrant parents. Rosé Blackpink has one older sister. In 2004, at the age of seven, Rosé and her family moved to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Rosé Blackpink attended Canterbury Girls' Secondary College in Melbourne. He started singing and learned to play the guitar and piano as a child and performed in a church choir.
In 2012, 15-year-old Blackpink Rosé attended an audition in Australia for a South Korean record label on her father's suggestion and ranked first among 700 applicants. Within two months Rosé Blackpink had signed with the label and moved to Seoul. Rosé initially thought her father's idea was a joke due to the distance and the difficulty of becoming a singer abroad.
