Resistance bands offer many advantages other than being extremely portable and convenient. The mechanical advantage of these bands is that resistance holds through every part of the movement - compared to free weights that often do not stimulate the muscle during certain parts of the motion.

Resistance band training focuses on both concentric and eccentric movements and usually results in a full range of motion -- resulting in greater strength and a complete stimulation.

This equipment is made of strong, thin rubber with handles at the end, and come in a variety of resistances depending on your fitness level. This program includes a variety of strength training exercise -- chest presses, rows, shoulder presses, tricep extensions, bicep curls, and even squats -- without the need for heavy weights.
