Mentor Together is India's first and largest youth mentoring not-for-profit. Our mission is to provide empowering mentoring relationships that help young people from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage break the inequality of opportunity they face.We started as an action-research project supported by the Centre for Public Policy at the Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore in 2010. Since 2012, we've grown our presence across India, to provide high-quality mentorship to over 4500 young people, across Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
Mentor To Go, our mobile mentoring platform, is fuelled by a dream to take mentorship to all corners of India; making it possible for anyone, anywhere to access or deliver high-quality mentorship. Building on 8 years of rigorous evidence-based practice, we've designed screening processes, matching processes, mentoring curricula, and community support processes to happen through a mobile-first platform.
Mentor To Go is supported by Cisco India, British Telecom, LinkedIn India and Sterlite Technologies. With their support, over 2020, we will onboard 10000 young people across India onto the app
