An innovative proposal to read and study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

About this app

The Maratone a Bible application is an innovative proposal to read and study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The idea was conceived by Philippe Azevedo (@mapasdoph) and remains one of the most creative ways to maintain constancy in the Word of God.

Maratone a Bible arose from the need to encourage men and women to dedicate more time to the Scriptures. After all, everyone marathons a series or several films for several minutes in a row. Now with the app it will be possible to do this with the Bible as well.

One of its tools is the Pomodoro Timer, a technique that helps with focus and concentration. With this, it is possible to circumvent distractions and have more focus to study the Bible, in a simple and practical way. 25 minutes of reading and study concentration and 5 of rest.

The Maratone a Bible app has three versions of the Bible: ACF (Almeida Corrigida Fiel), NVI (New International Version), which has a more accessible language, and JFA (João Ferreira de Almeida), which brings a more classic translation. The user can also choose to read and study the Bible in a physical way.

In the Maratone a Bible app, the 66 books of the Bible are available, divided into: Pentateuch, Historical Books, Poetic Books, Major Prophets, Minor Prophets, Gospels, Acts, Letters and Revelation.
Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy
Historical: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1st and 2nd Samuel, 1st and 2nd Kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther

Still in the application, the user can view the most read and popular books on the platform.

Among the features, the Maratone a Bible app records how many chapters the user has read and the number of minutes/hours he has spent reading the Bible. This allows Christians to follow their progress in reading and studying the Bible. In digital reading, he can mark the most important passages and even copy to share with friends and family.
