This Android application is a Student Book and Biology Teacher's Guidebook for SMA / SMK Class XI Independent Curriculum. In Pdf format.There are eight chapters of Biology material which are prepared based on guidelines for the implementation and development of the Independent Curriculum. The application of the characteristics of the Merdeka curriculum can be seen in each chapter, one of which begins with the presentation of problems in the context of daily life which is guided through trigger questions. Students are invited to get to know and explore natural phenomena related to themselves and their surrounding environment. It is hoped that the emergence of phenomena that are close to life can trigger students to learn more meaningfully.
Determining the scope of material in each chapter is based on considerations of efficiency and deepening of the material which focuses more on the essentials with the boundaries set in the Merdeka Curriculum, especially phase F. More contextual presentation, a variety of learning activities and a more authentic assessment approach as well as the availability of various resource links. Virtual learning is also in line with the transformation of education in the digital era which continues to develop. Students are given the freedom to explore the material in more depth through the enrichment feature and study Biology material from other sources including companion Biology textbooks available at their respective schools.
The discussion of material in each chapter is also developed by presenting a variety of learning activities including required alternative learning activities. Each activity is formulated taking into account its suitability to the direction of the material in the curriculum, the expected learning objectives and the material construction process in the student's realm of thinking, the relationship with previous discussion material and the availability of supporting facilities at the educational unit level.
It is hoped that the variety of learning activities for Biology material in Class XI as a whole can stimulate and strengthen the achievement of the Pancasila Student profile in each student. Pancasila students are the embodiment of Indonesian students as lifelong learners who have global competence and behave in accordance with Pancasila values, with six main characteristics: faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creative.
Hopefully every student can realize the importance of this character and try to instill it in everyday life.
